Front chest compression strap offers the option of use to give additional compression for long term pain relief.

There is an antimicrobial strip of fabric supplied that is attached with baby soft velcro which is placed at the upper inside portion of the zipper. It can be removed and replaced if your sternal incision leaks fluids while healing. (Additional charge for packages of strips.)

The entire garment is two ply (layers of fabric) giving you maximum compression support, and it has moisture wicking to help keep it cool and breathable.

Adjustable shoulder straps provides a custom fit for your vest. These also give medical personnel easy access to your chest in case of an emergency.

The entire garment is antimicrobial to assist in creating a more bacteria free environment for the delicate incision.

Front handles can be squeezed together for difficult movements such as coughing or sneezing. They are also useful for your caregivers assistance in helping you to move in various positions by providing them a way to lift and pull the chest as needed.

Strong side handles also help your caregiver to secure a hold on you while walking or moving thus adding a layer of personal safety through their hands on support.

Upper back – two crisscrossed 4” wide elastic bands stretch across the back of the shoulders for equalized compression tension from front to back of the chest. They also help improve posture and aid in fatigue relief.

Lower back – two parallel 4” elastic bands are placed in the mid and lower back areas to give extra support for pain relief often associated from laying on a hard operating table for possibly hours.

Pocket with small opening on the front of the vest is intended for the telemetry unit used while in the hospital, but it can also be easily used for your cell phone at home.
